Santosh is Partner in the Transaction Tax Services division of BDO India and is based in Bangalore, India. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Licentiate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has over 14 years of experience and more than 8 years in the area of Corporate re-organization, inbound and outbound structuring advisory, conducting tax due diligences, advisory on various M&A activity including buy back, capital reduction etc. He has been part of more than hundred tax due diligence exercise in various sectors including IT, hospitality, hotels, catering, auto components and other sectors. He has also been part of regulatory, tax, financial and business advisory related to group re-organization and restructuring activity. He has handled mergers, de-mergers across seven states in India. His experience includes advising on transaction structuring including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate restructuring, foreign investment consulting, tax due diligence and inbound acquisitions; Has experience on restructuring services include realignment and rationalization of organizational structure in tax and regulatory efficient manner. Karan Kalra | Founder | Bombay Law Chambers

Karan is the founder of Bombay Law Chambers and has over 15 years of experience in the legal industry, having worked in house as well as with one of Indian most prestigious law firm Nishith Desai Associates, where along with being a leader of the M&A and PE practices, he also led the banking and financial services vertical. His practice focuses largely on domestic and cross border venture capital and private equity transactions, M&As, JVs and structured finance along with providing regulatory and general corporate advice. Karan works across sectors and has domain expertise in financial services, technology, e-commerce, healthcare, renewables and core manufacturing. Raja Lahiri | Partner | Grant Thornton

Raja is an advisory partner with Grant Thornton India and currently leads the consumer, technology and financial services business segment across assurance, tax, and advisory for the Firm in the Western Region and is part of Firm National Minder Group and Global Technology, media, and telecom group for Grant Thornton Global. Raja has played various leadership roles in the Firm from the national minder group to leading the private equity and venture capital initiative, transaction advisory practice to Western Region market leader. He had led and advised for more than 250 + deals and has advised Private Equity, Venture Capital Funds, Corporates (Indian and International). He has advised a wide range of corporates, private equity, and entrepreneurs from business strategy, corporate finance to leadership consulting, and focuses on the “growth agenda”. Raja is a qualified chartered accountant from India with 21+ years of experience in the accounting and consulting world and has also attended leadership program at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and ISB – Hyderabad.

Neeraj Dubey is a corporate lawyer with 16 years of legal experience encompassing vast gamut of business law, IP, employment and technology law. He has routinely counseled manufacturing and service industry companies on a vast range of compliances in all elements of commerce and business including contracts (negotiation, drafting and review), corporate governance, competition, labor & employment, health & safety, environment and taxation. Neeraj’s industry focus spreads across automobile, banking, insurance, chemicals, energy, food, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, IT, e-commerce, health care, real estate & infrastructure, start-ups and waste management.
