World’s largest brewer Anheuser-Busch InBev is all set to start its independent journey in India. Anheuser-Busch InBev came to India back in 2007 under a joint venture with Ravi Jaipuria of RJ Group. After nine years of journey, the company broke up with Jaipuria in 2015 and is ready to start its solo journey soon.
Pedro Aidar, the newly appointed president of Anheuser-Busch InBev for India and South Asia, owns the vision of creating a niche for Anheuser-Busch InBev brands such as Hoegaarden, Budweiser and Corona. He will be looking to capitalize on network and will also work on making Budweiser widely available throughout India and South Asia. The merging process of SABMiller and AB InBev is in its final stage and will soon give birth to a $100 billion company.
